DISCIPLINARY MATTERS ORDER
The Disciplinary Review Board having filed a report with the Supreme Court recommending that MATTHEW A. KLEIN, formerly of ASBURY PARK, who was admitted to the Bar of this State in 1972, be disbarred for his knowing misappropriation of client trust funds and, although MATTHEW A. KLEIN did not appear before the Disciplinary Review Board to contest the matters submitted in expansion of the record before the District Committee, this Court being satisfied that even if the record before the District Committee did not clearly and convincingly demonstrate a violation of In re Wilson, 81 N.J. 451 (1979), the demonstrated instances of client neglect, combined with the respondent’s failure to respond to notices of the proposed disciplinary proceedings, establish

that respondent lacks the fitness to practice law — “Taken together, respondent’s conduct reflects a lack of awareness of the degree of professionalism required of every member of the Bar,” In re Katz, 90 N.J. 272, 284 (1982), and good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that MATTHEW A. KLEIN, formerly of ASBURY PARK, be disbarred and that his name be stricken from the roll of attorneys of this State, effective immediately; and it is further
ORDERED that MATTHEW A. KLEIN be and hereby is permanently restrained and enjoined from practicing law; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent comply with Administrative Guideline No. 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics dealing with disbarred attorneys; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Ethics Financial Committee for appropriate administrative costs.
