DISCIPLINARY MATTERS ORDER
STEPHEN P. McCARTHY of BAYONNE, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1954, having been convicted of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in violation of N.J.S.A. 24:21-19(a)(1), and obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception or subterfuge in violation of N.J.S.A. 24:21-22(A)(3), and good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that pursuant to R. 1:20-6(a)(1), STEPHEN P. McCARTHY is temporarily suspended from the practice of law pending the final resolution of ethics proceedings against him, effective immediately, and until the further order of this Court; and it is further
ORDERED that STEPHEN P. McCARTHY be restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension; and it is further
ORDERED that STEPHEN P. McCARTHY comply with Administrative Guideline No. 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics dealing with suspended attorneys.
